Softech Worldwide is currently seeking a skilled IT professional to fill the role of Deployment and Configuration Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage multiple enterprise applications simultaneously, focusing on branching, merging, labeling, security management, and source control using TFS.
  2. Coordinate the deployment process throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring smooth operation of various server environments, including Development, Testing, Staging, and Production.
  3. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to maintain optimal system performance.
  4. Oversee all servers, including web, database, content, etc., integral to the deployment environment.
  5. Monitor the health and security of servers involved in the deployment process, coordinating with the network department for maintenance.
  6. Manage software versioning, builds, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  7. Maintain comprehensive documentation (Installation and configuration guide) related to software deployment.
  8. Collaborate with software developers and the network department to resolve configuration issues on deployment servers.
Job Requirements:
  1. Familiarity with application development and deployment life cycles, with experience managing different server environments.
  2. Proficiency in Windows Server 2003/2008/2008 R2.
  3. Experience in software packaging and deployment management.
  4. Expertise in TFS administration and management.
  5. Knowledge of SQL Server 2005/2008 R2 management and scripting.
  6. SharePoint Administration skills.
  7. Understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, including Ethernet switching.
  8. Awareness of underlying network protocols/applications functions.
  9. Strong analytical and creative thinking abilities.
  10. Effective interpersonal and motivational skills.
  11. Proven experience in coordination and teamwork.
  12. Experience in IIS 6/IIS 7/IIS 7.5.
  13. Proficient in VBS and VB scripting.
