Job Summary:

This role oversees the efficient operation of plant facilities, ensuring that all equipment meets performance requirements and is properly maintained in compliance with environmental health and safety standards.

  • Maintain smooth operations of utility equipment by ensuring timely servicing and upkeep
  • Troubleshoot utilities equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
  • Work varied shifts as needed to provide effective maintenance support to manufacturing operations
  • Ensure utilities personnel adhere to safety procedures during work execution
  • Promote a culture of safety by maintaining personal protective equipment and implementing preventive maintenance programs
  • Create duty rosters for utility staff and coordinate shift crews to ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Sustain utility equipment under conditions meeting applicable regulations and policies
  • Train utility personnel according to training programs and EHS guidelines
  • Verify adherence to EHS procedures and policies among utility staff
  • Develop and maintain SOPs aligned with current practices and industry standards
  • Participate in system qualification activities
  • Collaborate with Utilities Manager on internal/external audits and CAPA closures

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering
  • 3-4 years' experience in similar roles
  • Proficiency in Operations, Maintenance, and Installation of Production Equipment, as well as troubleshooting
  • Strong skills in MS Office
  • Effective teamwork and problem-solving abilities
