Lab Support Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Lab Support Specialist. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to devices and applications efficiently.

The successful candidate will provide direct support to students and faculty, assisting them with login issues, software usage, printing challenges, and other lab-related queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting up and configuring computer hardware and software to ensure smooth lab operations
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues involving devices, applications, and lab equipment promptly
  • Assisting students and faculty members by addressing login difficulties, software usage guidance, and printing requests
  • Monitoring lab activities consistently to enforce the lab's usage policies and maintain an orderly environment
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized laboratory area that promotes efficient work and study conditions
  • Managing and keeping track of lab inventory, ensuring adequate supplies and equipment availability
  • Documenting and maintaining accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and lab usage statistics to support operational improvements and accountability
Requirements:
  • Ideal candidate will have Computer Knowledge
  • Minimum Experience: 1 Year
