Job Description

The Assistant Manager Procurement will be responsible for managing the procurement of packaging materials, technical equipment, utilities, and office commodities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing from both national and international suppliers. This role will also involve managing daily inventory levels, supporting the procurement department's daily activities, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring adherence to Nutrifactor Laboratories' procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the procurement of packaging materials, technical equipment & devices, and utilities from national and international suppliers.
  2. Assist in planning and managing the purchasing strategy for equipment and supplies.
  3. Maintain and update supplier information, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  4. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
  5. Conduct market research to evaluate new suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
  6. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure they meet contractual obligations.
  7. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.
  8. Assist in preparing procurement reports and analyzing purchasing trends.
  9. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met in a timely manner.

Education & Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree or higher.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of relevant procurement experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar sectors.

Note: Candidates with Engineering Management or Banking sector experience shall be preferred.
