Job Title: Operations Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operations Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role involves coordinating logistics by communicating with truck drivers and brokers through calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rate Negotiation: Contact truck drivers to determine their rates per mile and negotiate terms that benefit both parties, showcasing strong communication skills in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Load Management: Use the CRM system to find and assign loads to truck drivers, ensuring efficient scheduling during the night shift while utilizing multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Bargaining: Negotiate with brokers and truck drivers to secure the best possible deals and conditions, employing negotiation expertise.
  • Communication: Act as the primary contact between truck drivers and brokers during the night, managing all communications over the phone and via email.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all communications, rate agreements, and load assignments within the CRM and tracking systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle any logistical challenges that arise during the night shift, ensuring that deliveries stay on schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience: Experience with CRM systems and logistics management, preferably in transportation or similar roles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work exclusively during the night shift, manage high-pressure situations with professionalism and calmness, and maintain a regular working schedule.
