Emergency Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a quality team of medical and nursing staffs to ensure high-quality care service delivery in Accident and Emergency (A&E).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and direct medical officers/senior medical officers on clinical issues related to patient care, ensuring the highest standards of treatment.
  • Making timely decisions in crisis situations, resolving complex issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with A&E staff to communicate management-related issues, particularly during night shifts.
  • Report critical and urgent clinical issues to the A&E clinical head.
  • Liaise with medical and non-medical staff within the department and other stakeholders.
  • Implement administrative and clinical policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide medical support to team members to facilitate rapid patient management.
  • Document patient medical information on Hospital Information Management Systems (HIMS).
  • Ensure proper handover of patients at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a professional and courteous doctor-patient approach at all times.
Requirements:
  • Excellent clinical knowledge in emergency medicine.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
