  • We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer - Maintenance to join our team.

This is a leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  1. Operations and Maintenance: Develop comprehensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, civil, and utility systems. Ensure efficient operation and maintenance of these systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  2. Project Management: Design and implement mechanical and electrical systems to meet process requirements. Manage capex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  3. Inventory Management: Develop and maintain inventory management systems to ensure critical store items are available for equipment operation. Evaluate QEMs for material selection and follow up on deliveries.
  4. Contractor Management: Deal with contractors to execute project jobs within budget and timelines. Develop contracts for petty jobs, evaluate contractor bids, and review their billings.
  5. People Management: Lead teams of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, utilities, and civil staff. Develop coordination among departments, provide awareness on best practices, guide them technically, and build effective teams.
  6. Compliance and Continuous Improvement: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Identify opportunities for energy conservation, process optimization, and share project ideas for implementation.
  7. Stakeholder Management: Ensure compliance with TNA of employees, enhance worker capabilities through training, build relationships with stakeholders, and coordinate with procurement for cost-effective import substitutes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • Prior experience in petro-chemical, fertilizer, process, food, or cement industries.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in O&M of electrical & mechanical installations.
  • Deep knowledge of O&M, maintenance methodologies, reliability management, and team development.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems including SAP, Lean Six Sigma, MS Office, ETAB, AutoCAD & Power BI for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Understanding of international standards like EHS, IMS, GPM, ISO & Food Safety.
