Cloud Engineer Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and help drive the growth of our organization through the effective use of cloud-based technologies. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining private cloud environments using OpenStack, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects. They will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing complex OpenStack environments, designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters, conducting regular upgrades and patching of cloud infrastructure, proactively monitoring system health, and ensuring high availability. Additionally, they will automate cloud operations and infrastructure provisioning with tools like Ansible and Terraform, collaborate with development, DevSecOps, and operations teams to support CI/CD and GitOps workflows, and create and maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure designs, procedures, and best practices.

This role requires a strong background in Linux systems administration, scripting skills in Bash and Python, deep knowledge of OpenStack components (Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Horizon), experience with OpenStack deployment tools (Kolla, TripleO, RHOSP, Sunbeam, etc.), Kubernetes mastery (kubectl, Helm, CRDs, Ingress, Operators), automation and Infrastructure as Code experience with Ansible, Terraform, familiarity with CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Flux), and monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Ceph.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure and 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenStack and Kubernetes. Certifications such as Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Engineer are preferred but not required.
