Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to lead our natural gas measurement operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at industrial gas meter stations and town border stations.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Manage and ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment installed at industrial gas meter stations and town border stations.
  2. Supervise the effective operation and maintenance of the Data Acquisition System for Customer Meter Stations (CMS) within the designated franchise area.
  3. Ensure proper functionality of Remote Monitoring Equipment installed across CMSs / TBSs in the franchise area.
  4. Effective reporting of Exceptions through the Remote Monitoring system.
  5. Design dashboards and screens for exceptions and monitoring of consumption.
  6. Oversee the procurement of necessary spares and equipment related to Remote Monitoring, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
  7. Drive proactive planning and scheduling processes to optimize manpower, ensuring timely completion of remote monitoring equipment maintenance activities.
  8. Develop, implement, and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility, fostering individual growth for every team member.
  9. Conduct root cause analysis, document problems, and coordinate with relevant departments for swift resolution.
  10. Coordinate and manage field activities related to the installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of data acquisition equipment across the franchise network.
  11. Manage precise gas management, accurate measurement, and pressure adherence according to demand-supply analysis.
  12. Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for Operations, Maintenance, Revenue, and Capital expenditure for the department.
  13. Manage procurement of spares and equipment according to technical specifications and requirements.
  14. Manage technical evaluation of bids through the procurement department.
  15. Plan emergency and contingency procedures for attending to and addressing emergency complaints promptly on a 24/7 basis.
  16. Uphold the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of data acquisition equipment.
  17. Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
