Infrastructure Specialist

The role of a skilled Infrastructure Specialist involves collaborating with software engineering teams to deploy, manage and troubleshoot staging and production systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Automate and streamline deployment processes through efficient scripting.
- Ensure seamless system operations by working closely with software engineering teams.
Technical Requirements:
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration.
- Experience with shell scripting and automation/configuration management.
- Proficient in cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Database administration skills.
- Understanding of coding languages including C++, Java, Python, Perl or Ruby.
- Knowledge of IT operations best practices for high availability service environments.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in professional software engineering.
- Hands-on experience as an Infrastructure Specialist is required.
