Job Role

Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and system administration, with expertise in designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and deployment pipelines.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring seamless deployments, system reliability, and scalability. They will also collaborate closely with development and operations teams to identify potential and existing performance bottlenecks and create and execute mitigation strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible. They will also have hands-on experience with virtualization technologies, distributed datastores, and data warehousing solutions.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement infrastructure and deployment pipelines
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless deployments and system reliability
  • Identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, system administration, or cloud infrastructure management
  • Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with VMware, VirtualBox, and virtualization technologies
  • Expertise in configuring and managing Nginx for web hosting and load balancing
  • Experience working with distributed datastores and data warehousing solutions
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms
