Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled technical leader to join our team as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving architectural direction, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

  • Develop and implement technical roadmaps that align with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to create and optimize database schemas, queries, and models for performance and scalability.
  • Maintain high engineering quality through best practices like automated testing, peer reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Foster a positive, growth-oriented engineering culture that promotes innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in a people management or technical leadership role.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in managing engineers direct.
  • Proven track record in building and scaling backend services and distributed systems.
  • Strong knowledge of database design, modeling, and optimization (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Experience with AWS and modern infrastructure tools (Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform).
  • Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures.
  • Technical Skills: Background in Java, Golang, Elixir, or Scala.
  • Knowledge of modern development practices (CI/CD, Git, containerization).
  • Exposure to frontend development (React) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing requirements.
