Area Sales Manager Job Description

Maintaining and increasing sales of our products is a key responsibility for this role.

We are looking for an individual who can reach targets and goals set for their area, while establishing, maintaining and expanding their customer base.

This position involves servicing the needs of existing customers and identifying new business opportunities through various routes to market.

The successful candidate will set sales targets for individual representatives and the team as a whole, and will be responsible for recruiting and training sales staff.

They will also allocate areas to sales representatives, develop sales strategies and set targets, and monitor the performance of the team.

In addition, they will compile and analyze sales figures, and possibly deal with major customer accounts.

The ideal candidate will have good market knowledge and contract negotiation skills, and will be able to collect customer feedback and market research.

Reporting to senior managers, this individual will keep up to date with products and competitors.

Key Responsibilities:
