Dynamics Business Central Developer Role

We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Dynamics Business Central Developer, you will work closely with other members of our Professional Services team to perform development activities for new and existing Microsoft Dynamics Business Central customers.

The primary focus of this role will be on Dynamics Business Central Development, requiring expertise in the AL programming language, Business Central 15 and above, and experience working with clients using Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or Azure Development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Analysis and estimation of client modification requests
  2. Development of code to extend all functional areas of Business Central
  3. Testing functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirements
  4. Delivery of modifications to clients
  5. Pre-go-live and post-go-live end-user support
  6. Technical lead on the implementation team
  7. Modification development and creation of outputs as defined by standard system design lifecycles
  8. Assistance with sales estimates and presales demos in pursuit of new business

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 5 or more years of experience as a software developer working with Dynamics Business Central / NAV, at least 3 of which must be with the AL programming language
  2. Experience with Business Central 15 and above is required, specifically with using events to perform modifications
  3. Hands-on experience working with clients using one of the following: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, or Azure Development
  4. Experience extending common third-party add-on solutions highly desirable
  5. Experience with automated testing desired
  6. Candidates experienced with Docker, Git, and Azure DevOps will receive particular preference
  7. Nice to have certifications:
    1. MB-800 Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant
    2. AZ-204 Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure
    3. AZ 800/900 Certificates
    4. DP 600 a plus
