Harris Aged Care provides mission-critical software solutions for the Public Sector, Healthcare, Utilities, and Private Sector across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. As part of CSI, Harris focuses on utilities, local government, education, public safety, and healthcare software, investing in proprietary solutions and market expertise to drive growth.

The Position
We seek an experienced Senior Software Developer to enhance our product quality and customer experience. The role involves developing high-quality PowerBuilder applications, troubleshooting, proposing solutions, and collaborating with end-users, with a focus on reusable, tech-forward development. The position is based in our Karachi, Lahore, or Islamabad offices, working as an extension of the R&D team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop PowerBuilder applications and Sybase databases.
  • Troubleshoot and debug mission-critical applications.
  • Propose functional solutions for product enhancements.
  • Analyze existing code for consistency and dependencies.
  • Apply UX/UI design principles.
  • Prototype and co-design with end-users.
  • Review peers' work and provide feedback.
  • Perform assigned team activities and demonstrate ownership and collaboration.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with PowerBuilder.
  • Knowledge of C#/Java and Sybase Server programming.
  • Strong troubleshooting and testing skills.
  • Experience in desktop application development with good UX.
  • SQL Server data modeling and relational database skills.
  • Ability to reverse engineer logic and integrate systems.
  • Quality focus, teamwork, and good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies.

Nice To Have

  • Experience with financial software.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes services.
