Senior AWS Infrastructure Migration Engineer

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage AWS infrastructure migration projects, moving on-premises systems to the cloud.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Migrate on-premises infrastructure to AWS cloud services.
  • Design a comprehensive migration strategy for existing on-premises infrastructure.
  • Utilize AWS services like MGN, EDR, EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, TGW, Control Tower for the migration process.
  • Leverage AWS migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, and Database Migration Service (DMS) for smooth transitions.
  • Evaluate and optimize AWS infrastructure for cost efficiency, security, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams during the migration process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure migration.
  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud services and best practices for migration.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Application Migration Service, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and similar tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex migration challenges.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
Preferred:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Certification.
  • Experience with multi-cloud migration strategies.
  • Experience of working with a cloud consulting / services provider.
