The role of Senior Software Engineer is a pivotal position within our organization, requiring individuals to tackle complex technical challenges and design scalable software solutions.

The Key Responsibilities
  • Solving intricate technical problems within their domain of expertise, delivering high-quality code that serves as a benchmark for junior engineers.
  • Taking ownership of tasks, evaluating and balancing risks, and improving infrastructure and systems to ensure they are always left in a better condition than found.
  • Leading the design, coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions, while actively researching and proposing technical innovations to meet project needs.
  • Collaborating effectively with team members to propose solutions, participate in discussions, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Participating in interviews and onboarding processes, helping shape the team by bringing in new talent and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  1. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  2. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  3. Strong expertise in Node.js and Angular, with proficiency in additional programming languages such as Python and C++.
  4. In-depth knowledge of both relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  5. Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Sentry, New Relic) and automated testing frameworks.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of tackling complex technical challenges.
  7. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly document design decisions and engage with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Proven experience with software development methodologies and delivering complex, high-quality web applications.
  9. Ability to take ownership of tasks, balance risks, and make strategic decisions to improve system performance.
  10. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
