Medical Centre Operations and Administrative Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Centre Operations and Administration Specialist to manage medical centre operations and administration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage Operations and Administration: The specialist shall be responsible for managing medical centre operations and administration, ensuring compliance with roles, responsibilities, functions, and procedures assigned.
  • Maintain Attendance and Punctuality: Ensure attendance and punctuality of doctors and staff at the medical centre.
  • Compliance with Medical Policies: Ensure medical policies and procedures are being complied with, including referrals, sick leaves, and record keeping.
  • Review Patient History: Regularly review the history of patients (particularly chronic patients) in the system and ensure that the history is regularly updated by doctors.
  • Conduct Medical Audits: Conduct medical audits of doctors on a test basis, including auditing the medical book at random, making regular observations of clinical examinations conducted by company doctors, and assessing the validity of referrals.
  • Prevent Unnecessary Hospitalization: Take necessary efforts to prevent unnecessary hospitalization and related expenditures on inpatient cases in the centre.
  • Communicate with Treating Doctors: Communicate with treating doctors of admitted patients regarding diagnosis, investigation undertaken/to be undertaken and proper indications, appropriateness of treatment provided, justification of the duration of hospitalization, and advice on discharge of patients.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Report to the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre on a monthly basis and comply with urgent calls for specific visits and investigations as given by the In-charge Up-country Medical Centre.
