We are seeking a seasoned Laravel Team Lead to oversee the development team and drive backend architecture.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Laravel, PHP, and relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL. They will be responsible for architecting robust applications, ensuring best practices, and leading complex projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Backend Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems using Laravel.
  • API Development: Build and maintain RESTful APIs for frontend consumption and integrate third-party services as needed.
  • Coding Standards: Write clean, well-documented code following industry best practices.
  • Database Management: Design database schemas, write optimized queries, and manage migrations.
  • Security and Authentication: Implement authentication, authorization, and other core backend services.
  • Debugging and Optimization: Debug complex issues and provide long-term solutions to improve stability and performance.

The successful candidate will also collaborate closely with frontend developers, project managers, and designers to align on technical needs. They will participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers, staying up-to-date with the Laravel ecosystem and suggesting improvements to our tech stack.

Requirements:
  • Laravel Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Laravel developer
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of PHP and the Laravel framework, solid experience with RESTful APIs, and strong knowledge of relational databases.
