Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Lead Engineer to spearhead the development of cutting-edge software and applications that push the boundaries of technology.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in C, C++, Java, Python, and other programming languages. They will be responsible for designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs.

This role requires exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and sound reasoning skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in an Android environment, develop core BSP driver level code, and utilize debug tools like JTAG/TRACE.

Awareness of RTOS operating system fundamentals, processor architecture, embedded systems, and microprocessor concepts is essential. Understanding of DRAM technologies (LPDDR&PCDDR) and experience working on DRAM interface signal analysis is highly desirable.

The selected candidate will collaborate with various SW & HW teams to understand DDR systems, interact with different teams to address issues, and ensure end-products meet defined acceptance criteria for DDR by meeting stability, Power, and Performance Goals.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and validate UEFI / HLOS Quest framework and system-level tests for DDR technology LP4x/LP5x, Peripherals (PCIE, UFS, USB, SD card), Multimedia (GPU, Camera, Video), Q6 etc.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of DDR technology.
  • Drive multiple programs to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Validate end-products against defined acceptance criteria for DDR.
  • Apply system-level test methodologies and run validations on mobile systems.
  • Identify and debug DDR systems issues reported by memory validation and run system-level validations tests.
  • Collaborate with SW & HW teams to deepen understanding of DDR systems.
  • Evaluate product development stages from launch to commercial launch.
  • Demonstrate good analytical/problem-solving/sound reasoning skills.
  • Exhibit knowledge of SOC systems knowledge level tests validation methodologies.
  • Show ability to work effectively in an Android environment.
  • Experience in core BSP driver level development and debugging.
  • Familiarity with debug tools like JTAG/TRACE.
  • Understanding of RTOS operating system fundamentals/processor architecture/embedded systems/microprocessor concepts.
  • Awareness of DRAM technologies (LPDDR&PCDDR) and experience in DRAM interface signal analysis is a plus.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  2. OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  3. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
  4. Minimum 2 years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science.

Solid foundation in software engineering principles and practices.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
