Billing Project Manager Role

Are you a skilled professional with experience in product development and project management? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Billing Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing effectively in the billing upgrade project by leveraging your experience and knowledge of charging domain, business analysis, and project management.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage your experience and knowledge of charging domain, business analysis, and project management to contribute effectively in the billing upgrade project.
  • Understand project scope and carry out thorough UAT of locked scope by following best practices and incorporating all required steps such as defect management & resolution, service management, and reporting.
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for UAT phase milestones and align related processes.
  • Ensure strong documentation of processes and flows related to charging and support systems.
  • Lead all sessions of assigned streams and ensure alignment across the stream and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of HW CBS R24 and provide solutions to business problems & UAT road blockers.
  • Use business analysis and project management techniques for carrying out end-to-end product development of new features and gap analysis of already locked scope.
  • Add value to the overall UAT process through automations and dashboarding.
Your Typical Day:
  • Provide support to the UAT team by managing the complete defect management process.
  • Discussion and assignment of defects within the UAT team.
  • Eradicate road blockers for the UAT team.
  • Manage project UAT trackers.
  • Planning, organizing, and conducting UAT sessions under the billing swap project.
  • Carrying out UAT for products & features locked under project scope.
  • Getting a strong grip on project scope and followed by preparation/enrichment of test cases to be performed in UATs.
  • Development of a thorough understanding of product development processes and associated system flows.
  • Presenting project and UAT status to stakeholders and management.
  • Ensuring daily milestones are being delivered, bugs are raised, and follow-ups on already raised bugs are in process.
  • Creating a strong liaison with all relevant stakeholders for UAT, quality control, and product development and analysis.
  • Documentation of agreed business process and system flows.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Business Administration/Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology.
  • Certification: PMP, ITIL, SCRUM/Agile certification would be an advantage.
  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in product development of prepaid and postpaid products and charging and billing projects.
