The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at a leading academic centre is a dynamic hub providing diagnostic services across the country.
This clinical laboratory is CAP accredited, serving the nation through its main campus lab and numerous specimen collection units, as well as stat labs.
Key Responsibilities- Promote lab quality and services to healthcare professionals
- Organise Continuing Medical Education sessions in major hospitals
- Develop effective strategies to achieve test volumes, revenue, and volume targets
- Discuss lab-related issues with doctors, ensure feedback from stakeholders, and maintain records
- Collect data on referring physicians, hospitals, clinics, patient numbers, tests conducted, and revenue generated
- Perform quality, safety, and financial audits at assigned collection points
- Assist with internal quality audits and environmental rounds
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- At least two years of experience in healthcare organisations
- Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly communication and persuasion abilities
- Sound knowledge of computer software, particularly MS Office, and data maintenance/data analysis proficiency
- Willingness to work in shifts and travel as required
