Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team. This position is based on a revenue-sharing model with a one-year renewable contract.

Responsibilities
  • Therapy Planning: Prepare individualized therapy plans for patients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Progress Monitoring: Perform 6 monthly standardized assessments to monitor patient progress or decline, making adjustments as needed.
  • Patient Education: Conduct teaching sessions for parents and facilitate group sessions to promote patient understanding and engagement.
  • Training and Development: Impart training on standardized tests, therapy plan development, execution, and monitoring, staying up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient notes and educational plans, ensuring seamless communication among team members.
  • Quality Initiatives: Participate in quality initiatives under supervision, contributing to ongoing improvement and excellence within the department.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Attend and participate in departmental meetings, conferences, seminars, and lectures, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) in Occupational Therapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: At least 3-4 years of relevant experience working with children independently in a recognized healthcare organization.
  • Clinical Skills: Ability to perform standardized assessments of patients, monitor and record patient progress, and formulate care plans tailored to complex patient needs.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with peers, rehabilitation team members, patients, and their families.
