Job Description:

This role requires a highly skilled professional to lead programme development and management. The ideal candidate will oversee strategic planning processes, ensuring the delivery of project results with high quality and within specified timeframes.

The successful applicant will provide direction and guidance to project staff, managing project appraisal and evaluation according to results-based management principles. They will also support the preparation of project development documents, facilitating respective processes at the country office level for optimal efficiency.

In addition, they will facilitate the presentation of background information for implementation of women's economic empowerment & sustainable livelihood programmes, including drafting of project documents, annual work plans, budgets, and implementation proposals.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead programme development and management
  • Coordinate and promote women's economic empowerment and access to technological resources
  • Build strategic partnerships and mobilize resources
  • Advocate and promote knowledge building and management


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Development Economics, Gender Studies, International Development, or a relevant field. They will also have a minimum of 5 years of progressive program management experience, including design, coordination, monitoring, evaluation, donor reporting, and capacity building.

Experience in one of women's economic empowerment, micro-enterprise, tech, vocational education, or business development is required. Proven experience in leading teams effectively is also required.
