We are seeking experienced support engineers with in-depth knowledge of Linux and Windows to provide technical and customer support worldwide.

Job Specification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage support systems, live chats, phone calls, and support tickets/emails efficiently.
  • Provide high-quality Linux server administration and technical support operations, including implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and usage monitoring.
  • Administer and maintain web hosting services and servers to support business operations and end users effectively.
  • Implement server hardening, scanning, and removal of backdoors, malware, and viruses; perform website analysis, performance optimization, security checks, and monitoring.
  • Possess strong knowledge of web application firewalls and website security technologies, as well as server and website performance tuning expertise.
  • Demonstrate exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Show proficiency in working with Linux command lines and possessing knowledge of hosting control panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc.
  • Have sound knowledge of Linux servers and WHMCS, as well as other ticket management systems.
  • Be proficient in shell scripting and familiar with web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/bind, email, web servers, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, and email clients like Outlook/Thunderbird.
  • Experience virtualization technologies such as Xen, XenServer, VMware, and Hyper-V.
  • Capable of managing customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshooting reported issues effectively.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in the web hosting industry and Linux server administration required.
  • Able to work in a team environment as a strong team player.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems with a focus on Linux mandatory.
  • Able to maintain databases and server backups securely.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent results and services for assigned tasks.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Will report to Team Lead/Manager and follow up on customer issues via Helpdesk and provide necessary support.
