Linux Server Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux server administrator to join our team.

  1. Responsible for the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, security, and monitoring of Linux servers.
  2. Providing customer support and maintaining web hosting services.
  3. Maintaining Linux servers to support business operations and end users. Experience in the web hosting industry and data center is a plus.

Candidates from Lahore or neighboring cities are preferred.

Requirements

We are looking for a problem solver with analytical thinking abilities and strong English communication skills.

  1. Must have knowledge of Hosting Control Panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, etc.
  2. Experienced Linux Server Admin.
  3. Knowledge of WHMCS and other ticket management systems.
  4. Experience on Linux shell; experience with shell scripting is a plus.
  5. Knowledge of web technologies, platforms, applications, search engines, DNS/BIND, email, web servers, monitoring/NMS, clustering, rDNS, email clients (Outlook/Thunderbird).
  6. Knowledge of virtualization technologies (Xen, XenServer, VMware, Hyper-V).
  7. Capable of managing customer VPS and dedicated servers and troubleshooting reported issues independently.
  8. Minimum 2 - 5 years of experience in Linux server administration.
  9. Experience in the web hosting industry and Linux certification is a plus.
