Creative Character Animator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Creative Character Animator to join our team. As a mid-senior level animator, you will be responsible for animating realistic and compelling character actions that bring stories to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Animate characters using Maya, Flash, Spine, After Effects, or equivalent 3D or 2D program.
- Create scene layouts using a library of assets.
- Compose and animate cameras in a cinematic style.
- Work closely with 3D artists, leads, and the animation supervisor to ensure client requirements are met.
- Grow and develop the business by implementing working methodologies, managing large projects, and coordinating visual effects output and quality control.
- Collaborate with the lead animator to ensure timely completion of character assets at the desired quality bar.
- Maintain awareness of Animation Principles.
- Participate actively in team art discussions, critiques, and reviews.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience in game development animation.
- Strong understanding of traditional animation principles and their application to enhance gameplay and creative marketing trailers.
- Self-motivation, great communication skills, and team player attitude.
- Able to work creatively as part of a large or small group.
- Passion for video games.
Desirable Skills
- Experience in FX and Particle animation.
- Skills in modeling, rigging, or technical art.
- Experience with Unity.
