Cloud Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems.
- Responsible for designing, building, and managing engineering activities related to cloud initiatives.
- Develop automation modules using Puppet technologies to streamline our deployment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in our Puppet Enterprise architectures and associated tech stack.
- Collaborate with development engineering to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure that meets our quality and scalability requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, automation, and Puppet scripting. You will be expected to work collaboratively with our team to design, implement, and test agreed-upon infrastructures that meet our business needs.
Requirements- BS degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-7 years of related experience in the professional industry.
- Puppet Scripting experience, including building required automation using standard technologies such as puppet.
- DevOps practices and automation tooling knowledge.
- Experience with virtualization techniques and data center requirements.
- Hands-on working experience with automation tools like Ansible and Chef.
- Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation.
- CI/CD toolchain (Kubernetes) experience.
- Basic level scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Amazon Linux).
