Female Mess Caretaker

About the Job: As a Female Mess Caretaker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall quality of life for our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the mess, guest rooms, and residential areas are kept clean and tidy, while also managing inventory, handling customer service, and performing various administrative tasks.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the mess, including cleaning, laundry, and maintenance.
• Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of housekeeping and customer service.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, supplies, and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Mess Supervisor or Director.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and data entry.
