To create a turn-key Data as a Service (DaaS) platform on Azure Databricks technology, we need experts who can install, scale, and maintain Databricks clusters.

As a Senior System Engineer, you'll join a cross-functional team building and maintaining this platform from scratch. Your main task is to build and maintain the performance and reliability of the data platform.

We strive for the highest possible uptime, great performance, and best-in-class levels of security through an automation-first approach. This means following industry standards to ensure stability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

You'll also be responsible for maintaining Infrastructure as Code for the Data as a Service platform and participating in refining the architecture.

In the long term, you can grow into a Principal System Engineer position, driving cross-team initiatives and taking on more responsibilities in product design.

  • Databricks infrastructure expertise: maintenance, scaling, performance tuning, cost optimization;
  • Multi-tenant installation experience in Databricks;
  • Data platforms on public cloud (preferably Azure);
  • Monitoring and metrics: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor;
  • Programming and automation experience;
  • Cloud environment management using Terraform/OpenTofu;
  • At least 5 years in a similar role running workloads on public cloud;
  • Knowledge of GitOps / ArgoCD;
  • Comfortable with CLI-based tooling and Linux operating systems;
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
