Senior Web Developer Position Overview

Etrix Private Limited seeks a highly skilled Senior Web Developer to lead web application development and system creation from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership abilities.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Web Application Development: Design and develop high-quality, fully functional web applications and systems from approved specifications.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement technical solutions.
  • API Integration: Leverage expertise in web services (creation and consumption) to integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways.
  • Problem Analysis and Debugging: Analyze complex problems, debug efficiently, and provide solutions that meet business needs.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior developers to ensure knowledge sharing and skill enhancement.

Technical Requirements:

  1. Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, AJAX, and JavaScript frameworks (Prototype, jQuery, MooTools).
  2. XML and Payment Gateway Expertise: Expertise in XML, RSS feeds, and payment gateway integrations.
  3. Third-Party API Integration: Proficient in web services and third-party API integration, including SMS gateway and currency feed integrations.
  4. Data Analysis and Visualization: Familiarity with PHP charting/plotting, Excel imports/export, and on-the-fly PDF generation.
  5. Web Security Best Practices: Excellent understanding of HTML/XHTML, dynamic HTML/CSS, and web application security best practices.
