Business Intelligence Data Strategist

This role plays a pivotal part in driving business success by developing and implementing effective reporting and analytics strategies. As a strategic partner, you will work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and translate business needs into clear documentation.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across diverse stakeholders. Strong technical expertise in data transformation, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data validation is essential, as well as experience with modern SQL Server environments and cloud-based technologies such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Leading the development of robust reporting and analytics solutions to inform business decision-making.
- Overseeing the ingestion and transformation of data from multiple sources, ensuring timely and accurate data availability.
- Implementing data validation, error handling, and reconciliation processes to maintain data consistency and quality.
- Driving automation and reducing manual interventions through modernisation of outdated transformation procedures and improved monitoring practices.
- Designing and overseeing modular, fault-tolerant, and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Beyond the technical aspects, this role requires a deep understanding of business operations and the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
