Content Writer

Plumlogix is a leading Salesforce partner and US-based IT solutions company. We specialize in delivering digital transformation through Salesforce technologies, and we're looking for a Content Writer to join our dynamic team.

The content writer's responsibilities include evaluating analytics to adjust content as needed, regularly updating the company's website, and promoting the company blog by pitching articles to various third-party platforms. You should also be able to follow editorial guidelines when creating content. To be successful as a Content Writer, you should keep abreast of the latest SEO techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
  • Conceptualizing and developing all short form and long form of content such as blogs, articles, press releases, product descriptions, social media, company website etc.
  • Independently gathering inputs from subject matter experts to develop, organize and write technical articles, success stories, business stories, thought leadership articles etc.
  • Coordinating with SEO, designer, and leaders within and outside the department to create and deliver high quality content artifact.
  • Evolve content presentations or writing strategies and adapt them to new situations (fireside chat, podcasts, webinars etc.).
  • Writing and optimizing SEO-focused content for websites, blogs, landing pages, and digital platforms.
  • Creating and executing an SEO driven content/editorial calendar.
  • Editing and proofread for grammar, clarity, and brand tone.
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability.
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
  • Conducting content audits to recommend changes/enhancements to address gaps in the company's current content and align with customer pain points and expectations.
  • Staying updated with Google algorithm updates, E-E-A-T guidelines, and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate should demonstrate strong writing skills without relying on AI assistance.
  • Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A portfolio of published articles.
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Min experience required 5 years in technical content writing for an IT/engineering company.
  • Experience in communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and working on ad hoc requests.
  • Keen to read, watch and learn about new technologies.
  • Should be well versed in B2B content marketing, brand communications and SEO driven content.
  • Should be proactive and self motivated along with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
