E-book Publishing & Formatting Specialist

We are seeking an experienced E-book Publishing & Formatting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for formatting and publishing e-books, ensuring high-quality layouts, and collaborating with authors to bring their works to life.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on assigned projects to ensure a solid understanding of the subject matter.
  • Understand project details and requirements to produce engaging, high-quality books aligned with client preferences.
  • Write original and error-free content strictly adhering to internal and client-provided guidelines.
  • Acknowledge and incorporate required changes from clients in a timely manner.
  • Edit content across multiple genres professionally.
  • Format manuscripts into high-quality e-books meeting industry standards.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to ensure all formatting and layouts meet publishing standards.
  • Maintain open communication with authors throughout the publishing process to clarify requirements and update progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to e-book publishing and formatting.
  • Effectively manage and archive digital assets to ensure smooth workflow and easy retrieval.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to authors and team members regarding publishing processes and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in E-book formatting, publishing, and layout design is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for this role.
  • Experience collaborating with authors and content creators is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with e-book publishing software and tools is crucial.
  • Prior experience in the publishing industry is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Publishing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills are vital.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously is necessary.
