Job Overview

This role is designed for individuals who have a strong background in risk management, compliance, and leadership. As a QHSE professional, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with workplace processes, ensuring a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks, develop strategies to mitigate them, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Compliance: Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to educate employees on QHSE practices and protocols.
  • Culture Promotion: Foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Auditing: Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Action Planning: Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, occupational health, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency in QHSE management systems, risk assessment tools, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
