Staff Accountant Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting and analysis, with experience working with various financial tools.

  • This role is responsible for preparing and posting journal entries to the general ledger, maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, and assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • The successful candidate will also participate in the month-end closing process, reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable balances, and ensure accurate recording of cash transactions.
  • Furthermore, this role involves maintaining and reconciling fixed asset schedules, providing comprehensive support for internal and external audits, including preparation, organization of financial records, and timely responses to auditor inquiries.
  • In addition, the Staff Accountant will track actual financial performance against budgeted amounts on a regular basis, analyze discrepancies and variances, and identify areas where actual expenses or revenues differ from the budgeted amounts.

A Chartered holder, MBA, MSC, BSC, ACA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA degree is required, along with at least 3 years of working experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Analysis, Regulatory. Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAPs is necessary. Experience with preferred tools is also beneficial.
