Job Title:

Backend Systems Architect

We are seeking an experienced Backend Systems Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and WebSocket APIs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • System Design: Design and implement modular backend systems ensuring optimal performance and maintainability.
  • API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful and WebSocket APIs for seamless frontend-backend communication.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Design and manage cloud infrastructure using services like AWS or Azure and ensure alignment with industry standards.
  • Database Management: Design and manage relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (e.g., MongoDB) databases.
  • Database Optimization: Optimize database queries and manage data modeling for large-scale applications.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices, including data encryption, secure API communication, and role-based access control.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks, strong understanding of API design principles, and expertise in database optimization, indexing, and schema design.
  • Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, expertise in managing cloud services like EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, effective communication to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Problem-solving mindset with attention to scalability and maintainability, adaptability to work on multiple projects and domains.
