System Administrator Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Proven expertise as a System Administrator or Engineer with at least 3 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with datacenter management, server administration, RAID management, databases (SQL Server), networks (LAN, WAN), Windows and Linux operating systems, patch management, OS upgrades, troubleshooting, and ensuring maximum system availability.
  • Hands-on experience with Dell and H3C servers, as well as storage solutions.
  • Past experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, H3C HCI, Sangfor, OpenStack, Proxmox) in production environments for at least 1 year.
  • Mid-level knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, NTP.
  • Around familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
  • Experience with PowerShell scripting.
  • Problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and strong communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certifications (e.g., MCSA, VCP-DCV) are an asset.

  • Ensure the security and compliance of IT infrastructure.
  • Document and report on system configurations and maintenance activities.

  • Manage virtualization infrastructure effectively.
  • Possess relevant certifications and training in system administration.
  • Develop disaster recovery and backup strategies.
