We are seeking an experienced Treasury Operations professional to work in Karachi. The successful candidate will have strong expertise in back office payment transactions, risk management, and core banking system operation.

The ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of relevant experience, a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility, and excellent communication skills. They will also have proficiency in Swift messaging, operation of RTGS and RAAST systems, and fluency in English and Chinese languages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payment Transaction Processing: Process daily payment transactions, including transfer transactions, cross-border inward and outward remittances, and cheque clearing.
  • Risk Management: Monitor nostro and vostro account balances to ensure smooth liquidity and funding operations.
  • Deal Execution: Confirm daily interbank FX dealing and money market deals with counterparties and execute related payments.
  • Reconciliation: Complete accounts reconciliation and investigate pending payments to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Voucher Management: Ensure proper keeping of daily business vouchers and submit them in a timely manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure strict compliance over anti-money laundering measures.

System Operation:

  • CBS Operation: Perform daily operation of the Core Banking System (CBS), including RTGS and RAAST systems.
  • System Support: Provide support to payment system maintenance and other tasks as may be assigned.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze payment system related data and support daily SBP reports.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum Graduation
  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Languages: English (written & spoken), Chinese (written & spoken) preferred
  • Skills: Swift message, operation of RTGS & RAAST
