Job Title: Strategic Technology Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Architect to lead our technology design and management initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating clients into our network while ensuring the technical protection of our Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB clients.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement migration strategies for approximately 1600 Windows 7 clients to our new infrastructure.
  • Distribute clients across Germany and select sites through small network bandwidths.
  • Migrate scripts for initial inclusion in the AD domain and configure Cisco AnyConnect VPN tunnels on Windows 10 LTSB.
  • Implement migration steps in cooperation with our support team.
  • Create rollout concepts for approximately 650 clients with minimal downtime.
  • Define and maintain target images for software, system, and solution architectures required to operationalize business requirements.
  • Coordinate software, system, and solution design in IT projects and project management.
  • Identify optimization potentials of IT processes from an architectural point of view.
  • Review and evaluate IT processes for inconsistencies, redundancies, and dependencies.
  • Accelerate standards in IT systems and processes.
  • Ensure regular reporting on work progress, risks, and issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering applications across on-premises and cloud-native infrastructures.
  • Knowledge of designing and further developing MECM architecture using distribution points/site servers.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Solid knowledge of client releases in complex IT landscapes.
  • Relevant experience with Windows 10 in the enterprise environment.
  • Good knowledge of operating systems, networks, servers, Internet, and end devices.
  • Proven capabilities in modeling application and system architectures.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ITIL Foundation V3 and Microsoft MCTS certificates desirable.
  • Very good English skills required, spoken and written.
