Technical Project Manager Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and manage technology projects, leveraging expertise in project management tools and methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets. Define project milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals, progress, and issues. Facilitate regular project meetings and status updates.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including data engineers, architects, developers, and business analysts. Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure that team members have the resources and support they need.
  • Identify potential project risks and issues related to Microsoft Fabric implementation. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address risks and ensure project success.
  • Evaluate project deliverables against quality standards and best practices for Microsoft Fabric technologies. Conduct reviews and testing to verify that solutions are functional, reliable, and meet business requirements.
  • Manage project resources effectively, including team members, budget, and technology. Monitor resource utilization and adjust plans as needed to address changes in project scope or priorities.
  • Oversee changes to project scope, schedule, and resources. Ensure that changes are documented, communicated, and approved by stakeholders.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, issue logs, and post-implementation reviews. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
  • Continuously assess and improve project management processes to enhance delivery efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field. An advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a proven track record of managing technology projects.
  • Skills: Solid understanding of Microsoft Fabric components, including data integration, analytics, and cloud solutions. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile) are highly desirable.
