Accountant Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of vouchers and posting
  • Assisting with administrative tasks where necessary
  • Dealing with banks
  • Fixed assets management
  • Petty cash handling
  • Preparing financial statements by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Documenting financial transactions by entering account information
  • Providing financial recommendations by analyzing accounting options
  • Summarizing the current financial status by collecting information and preparing reports
  • Verifying and substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintaining accounting controls by developing policies and procedures
  • Guiding accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
  • Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
  • Securing financial information by completing database backups
  • Ensuring accurate accounting reporting and presenting results
  • Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
  • Providing technical support and advice on management
  • Reviewing and recommending modifications to accounting systems and procedures
  • Participating in financial standards setting and forecasting
  • Developing and maintaining financial systems and processes
Requirements:
  • Planning, assigning, and reviewing staff work
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies
  • Effective communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Contribution to building strong client relationships through positive interactions
  • Communicating work status and client issues to Manager and/or Director
