Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Specialist Digital Products & Services Development expert. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for serving as a liaison between departments and the IS&T organization.

  • A 10-member team (including the department head) with 02 sub teams
  • You will be part of a 03-member sub-team reporting to the Manager Digital Solutions

The role involves identifying problems within a business, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, designing new digital solutions, formulating ways for businesses to improve based on previous research, overseeing the implementation of new digital technology and systems, and leading new digital initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Sciences; Master's degree and relevant certifications are a plus
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in software development life cycle
  • Digital solution knowledge and experience
  • Open-source technologies expertise
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript
  • Familiarity with frameworks and libraries
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 and CSS3
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Experience with common front-end development tools
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git and SVN
  • Developing new restful services for user-facing features using NodeJS
  • Building reusable components and server-side/front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers
  • Ensuring all code has been unit tested prior to QA, including interfaces with other systems
  • Adhering to development best practices established by the organization
  • Writing documentation supporting the implementation of the solution
  • Good understanding of software design principles and their core concepts
  • Experience with data structure libraries
  • Experience with Android Mobile Application development using Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, and Android NDK
  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and handling various screen sizes
  • Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries for common tasks
  • Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
  • Experience in publishing an application on the Google Play Store
  • Proven work experience in design patterns, mobile architecture using frameworks like MVVM/MVC/MVP
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to effectively integrate Android applications and testing tools
  • Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application and identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
