Job Description

You will be responsible for conducting resiliency design reviews, breaking down complex problems into manageable tasks for other engineers, and acting as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to other engineers, promoting a culture of site reliability and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote site reliability best practices across the team.
  • Initiate projects to enhance application and platform reliability using data-driven analytics.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify service level indicators and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple technical domains and resolve technology-related bottlenecks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact during major incidents.
  • Document knowledge within the organization via internal forums and communities of practice.
  • Expand and collaborate across different levels and stakeholder groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Formal training or certification in Site Reliability Engineering concepts combined with 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction, and other site reliability best practices.
  • Strong knowledge in Terraform and Cloud technologies.
  • Fluency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java Spring Boot, .Net, etc.
  • Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes.
  • Proficiency in observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
  • Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, etc.
  • Experience with container and container orchestration including ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems related to complex data structures and algorithms.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Able to lead by actions.
  • Drive to self-educate and evaluate new technology.
