Senior Quality Assurance Lead

A Senior Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for leading a team of QA analysts and testers. This involves resolving conflicts, promoting a collaborative team environment, and driving the team to achieve high performance.

The ideal candidate will have more than 10 years of experience in leading QA teams and hands-on experience in test automation, performance testing, database testing, and API testing.

  • Languages and Tools: Proficiency in manual testing processes and different types of testing.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a complex environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Strong ability to handle and resolve team conflicts effectively and maintain a healthy team environment.

About this Role

This role requires a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and the ability to apply industry best practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and enforcing rigorous QA processes and controls to maintain high standards of software quality.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead a team of QA analysts and testers to ensure high-quality software products.
  2. Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness of the QA process.
  3. Implement/improve existing testing strategy that includes both automated and manual testing methodologies.
  4. Manage multiple testing projects simultaneously and ensure transparency and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
  5. Refine Scrum practices within the QA team and ensure that testing phases are integrated seamlessly into the software development lifecycle.
  6. Establish and enforce rigorous QA processes and controls to maintain high standards of software quality.

Requirements

  • More than 10 years of experience in leading QA teams.
  • Hands-on experience in test automation, performance testing, database testing, and API testing.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a complex environment.
  • Strong ability to handle and resolve team conflicts effectively and maintain a healthy team environment.
