Job Title

This is a position for a professional who can assist clients with career-related challenges and help them build a stronger and more efficient finance function.

The successful candidate will have expertise in financial reporting, analysis, and accounting standards, as well as experience working on multiple engagements simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct review and analysis to identify improvement opportunities related to finance processes and automation.
  • Leverage analytical or digital techniques to drive value, produce meaningful business information, and highlight potential areas of non-compliance or anomalies.
  • Assess the requirements of accounting standards, determine change impact, and consider implementation implications for clients.
  • Engage with client personnel at appropriate levels, deliver quality work products and client services, and develop long-term client relationships.
  • Develop relationships across practices to serve client needs and participate in business development, including proposal development and client relationship management.
  • Coach and counsel junior team members and help develop a positive learning culture.

You will be closely participating in business development activities, understanding the client's industry, and recognizing key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical developments.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field.
  • Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years in a Big 4 environment with significant experience with banks and other financial service sector clients.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to travel (0–50%).

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, allocate resources effectively, and communicate clearly.
  • Flawless English communication; Arabic is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Experience managing teams and working on multiple engagements simultaneously.
