International Trade Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a skilled Trade Finance Specialist to oversee export operations and manage import processes from L/C opening to shipment clearance. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation and submission of customs and bank documents, address marketing queries related to export documentation and commissions, and coordinate import logistics.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and submit customs and bank documents for export shipments
- Address marketing queries related to export documentation and commissions
- Coordinate import processes from L/C opening to shipment clearance
- Liaise with finance and accounts for import operations, documentation, payments, and proceeds
- Negotiate transporters for import/export logistics and finalize contracts
- Scrutinize and approve transport and customs clearance bills for import/export
- Experience in trade finance preferably within the textile or manufacturing sector
- Professional certifications like CFA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments and international trade regulations
- Proven experience in liaising with banks, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies for import/export documentation and payments
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a strategic approach to problem-solving
- Ability to lead teams, work cross-functionally, and drive process improvements under high-pressure conditions
