**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC System Specialist to join our team. This role involves overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • System Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Monitor maintenance operations to ensure they follow blueprints or engineering specifications.
  • HVAC System Management: Maintain and perform engineering transformations of the HVAC system to ensure safe and economical operation. Formulate HVAC SOPs and management systems, and supervise their implementation.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Prepare equipment annual maintenance plans, monthly maintenance plans, and spare parts plans for the HVAC system. Arrange system maintenance and transformation work.
  • Construction Plan Development: Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving construction plans, including goals and objectives, work breakdown structures, detailed scope descriptions, schedules, risk management approaches, milestone descriptions, shop drawings, as-built drawings, budgets, and staffing requirements.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership in the design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems. Establish schedules and methods for troubleshooting operational issues and review operations associated with the power plant.
  • Inspection and Maintenance: Ensure routine general inspection of electrical & electronics machinery, equipment & its maintenance. Carry out planning, costing, and budgeting of maintenance services, new installations, and consumables.
  • Mechanical System Maintenance: Identify and perform mechanical system preventative maintenance procedures, such as changing air filters and belts, greasing bearings, and cleaning ducts, coils, and condensation pans.
  • Procurement: Participate in the procurement of generator, air conditioning, HVAC, electrical appliances, and required assets through an established tendering system.
  • Billing and Requisition: Prepare bills, purchase requisitions, internal requisitions, and vouchers. Ensure the availability of spares for maintenance purposes.
  • Technical Specifications: Prepare draft technical specifications, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), scopes of work for capital items, including evaluation and inspection.
  • Maintenance Management: Manage maintenance activities related to HVAC systems, lifts, electrical and electronics devices & equipment.
  • HVAC Upgradation Projects: Plan HVAC upgradation projects by determining specifications; selecting contractors; establishing installation schedules; planning shutdowns and installations; integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs; verifying code requirements; and updating cost estimates.
  • Audit and Evaluation: Perform audits on all HVAC systems, collect data, and perform periodic evaluations. Monitor logbooks and manage change processes and resolve issues.
  • Operation and Maintenance: Manage operation and maintenance of chillers and install and maintain dehumidification systems. Oversee all maintenance activities.
  • Analytics and Risk Management: Analyze load programs, perform required calculations, manage electrical requirements for HVAC equipment, and recommend improvements. Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership. Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
