Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering to fill this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation of new units or replacement parts for existing units according to specifications and established safety guidelines. Monitor maintenance operations to ensure adherence to blueprints or engineering specifications, and perform troubleshooting to identify problems.
  • HVAC System Management: Maintain and perform engineering transformation of the HVAC system to ensure safe and economical operation. Develop SOPs and management systems, and supervise implementation.
  • Maintenance Planning: Prepare equipment annual maintenance plans, monthly maintenance plans, and spare parts plans for the HVAC system. Arrange system maintenance and transformation work.
  • Construction Planning: Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving construction plans, including goals, objectives, work breakdown structures, detailed scope descriptions, schedules, risk management approaches, milestone descriptions, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and staffing requirements.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient functioning of HVAC equipment by providing technical leadership in design, installation, and maintenance. Establish schedules and methods for troubleshooting operational issues and review operations associated with the power plant.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance on mechanical system preventative maintenance procedures, such as changing air filters and belts, greasing bearings, and cleaning ducts, coils, and condensation pans.
  • Procurement: Participate in procurement of generator, air conditioning, HVAC, electrical appliances, and required assets through an established tendering system.
  • Financial Management: Prepare bills, purchase requisitions, internal requisitions, and vouchers. Ensure availability of spares for maintenance purposes.
  • Capital Projects: Plan HVAC upgradation projects by determining specifications, selecting contractors, establishing installation schedules, planning shutdowns and installations, integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs, verifying code requirements, and updating cost estimates.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership. Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management. Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.

This role involves working closely with senior management to ensure effective execution of responsibilities and achieving company goals.
