Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled developer to join our Digital Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing cutting-edge retail solutions and will play a key role in solving complex problems.

The successful candidate will collaborate with multi-functional teams across geographies to participate in digital product development initiatives. Key responsibilities include creating, building, and maintaining CI/CD processes, performing release management for SFCC, and possessing knowledge of new Salesforce Commerce APIs, Java-based microservices, and Kubernetes.

  • Contribute to at least 1+ apps in production via commits or code solutions that utilize React, Redux, and Node with ExpressJS in a medium to large-scale organization.
  • Deliver solid web applications that meet performance and security standards.
  • Experience with versioning, npm, webpack, and general development understanding of scaling applications.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, 60FPS, and RUM is essential.
  • Universal App experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of how eCommerce back-ends work is crucial.
  • Support critical production issues for launch and ensure system stability.
  • Aim to improve user experience and optimize applications for better conversion.
  • Knowledge of DTM or Adobe Analytics is beneficial.
  • Lead and provide insights to ensure 24/7 system operation.
  • Proactively identify performance issues and escalate as needed.
  • Provide first-level support for the Digital eCommerce Stack.
  • Recommend technical improvements and guide DevOps to deliver fixes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience developing eCommerce solutions on NodeJS and React.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce concepts like UX design, content management, personalization, web analytics, SEO, payment processing, taxation, and order management systems.
  • Familiarity with modern development and collaboration tools (CI/CD pipelines, wikis, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD using Jenkins and GitHub/BitBucket.
  • Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML) and troubleshooting production issues.
  • Experience integrating on-premise and cloud-based SaaS solutions; AWS experience is a plus.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Commerce suite is advantageous.
